Co-Ax Valves for special applications

No warmth. No rest. No contest.

with Co-Ax Valves.

KB-15 co-ax valve

The powerful control tube design from co-ax® wasn’t the first valve specification in this application. But it was the last one. In fact our customer documented that the co-ax® cryogenic valve outperforms the valve it replaced by 300%. This level of routine performance has an obvious and positive impact on (a) reduced downtime, (b) reduced maintenance, and (c) reduced spare parts inventory.

In this low temperature, high cycle application, the co-ax® KB 15 valve is applied as an on/off valve to maintain an exact temperature of –65º F in the isolation chamber. Maintaining a positive shut-off under these conditions is crucial to the accuracy of the chamber.

Although this application didn’t really test the –326º F range of the co-ax® technology, it might not have been quite the right valve were it not for the valves’ low profile design. This last feature proved to be an essential benefit in the compact system controlling the precise temperature in the bench top chamber.

We know a lot about unusual and demanding applications. The exceptional accuracy and superior reliability of our coaxial power tube technology together with its huge operating range from vacuum to 7500 psi and from -326°F to 756°F consistently gets us involved in some real valving adventures. But we’re committed to helping our customers out of every demanding application they get themselves into.
